We are a GROWER, PACKER, and SHIPPER with energy and motivation that is meshed with our long rich experience in produce. We have grown to become a leading shipper of Peaches, Plums, Nectarines, Pomegranates and Persimmons all grown in California’s fertile San Joaquin Valley. Our culture is focused on providing the best fruit in every respect possible. This is accomplished by our hands on approach to every detail in growing, harvesting, packing, and shipping.
Our program begins with the early Cherry season that will start late Spring and end in the early part of summer. As the seasonal San Joaquin Valley temperatures increase so does the volume of Peaches, Plums and Nectarines. Sierra Sun's Soft Fruit program begins in early May and will continue on through September. Our Stone Fruit program concludes with a large late season deal that continues on when many other shippers have finished. Table Grapes compliment our tree fruit from beginning to end.
As the weather begins to change so do the commodities we harvest. Pomegranate start shortly after the Stone Fruit season and will be available to the end of the year. In Autumn we carry a full line-up of Persimmons both Hachiya and Fuyu varieties. Sierra Sun Persimmons will start early in the season and end right in time for the Holiday rush. Our specialty item Quince will also be available during this period and continue on through most of winter.
